A large modular leather sofa in the style of De Sede, Knoll, Leolux, Lauser and COR.
It is a European design from the 60’s and very comfortable. The set consists of 5 elements: two with arm rests and 3 without. The back is made of “pillars” upholstered with leather. Those “pillars” have some resemblances with the ds600 “Snake” sofa by De Sede. Each element has its own back cushion, which is not attached to the back, so you can place it however you like.
We immediately fell in love with this sofa. It has that clean and modern design of the mid-century like a De Sede. But because of the back “pillars” also a very majestic appearance.
This is a sofa that will match any brutalist interior and will make a good combination with the stone slate coffee tables of the mid-century. But we also think a Danish design lounge chair in green or petrol velvet, rosewood sideboard or Dutch modern metal dining table and chair will make a beautiful match.
We are not sure about its designer, but we think its German. Sofa is made of green leather and in good vintage condition. It has some traces of use to the leather.
