A rare trio of pendant lamps. The optima series was designed by Hans Due in 1972 and consisted of seven models. Three of the models were pendant lamps in different sizes. This one is the 50 cm / 19,6 inch version.
What makes this lamp extremely rare is its ceiling plate. The lamps were sold per piece, but it was possible to order a special ceiling plate that could hold three pendant lamps together and makes it one big impressive piece of lighting.
The lamp is made of brown painted steel. The brown has been repainted once. It has the original red inner line and in one of the lamps a part of the original Fog and Morup label is visible.
The lamp would be a great eye catcher in a restaurant, hallway or above a large dining table.
All lamps can be converted to us standards free of cost. Please ask us for details.
