A set of 6 dining chairs and an extendable dining table designed by Niels Otto Møller. This specific model is number 75 and was made in Denmark in the 1950s. An excellent piece of classic Danish modern furniture design. The chairs feature a paper cord seating. This is the version with the thin and elegant paper cord strings, which are in our opinion the most beautiful. The frame of the chairs are made of solid teak with beautiful organic shapes. The dining table is also made of teak. It stands on a crossed shaped foot with a teak veneer top. When not extended, the table offers room for the six dining chairs, but whenever you desire more space, the table can be easily extended to a larger one.
Table and chairs are in good condition with normal traces of use for their age. All the paper cord is also in good condition without any defects. Items are original and marked by maker. Niels Otto Møller was a Danish designer and is one of the most respected designer of the Danish mid-century. His designs are still very popular items nowadays. Many of his items are still production, but vintage, early examples are getting more rare with the time.
