A pair of geometric, cross shaped wooden ottomans, poufs or stools from 1930s. Made in Italy. The ottoman has a comfortable round cushion and a cross shaped base consisting of different layers of wood. Those layers create some depth to the structure, which gives it an unique design. The wooden base is made of lacquered mahogany, which is a common used wood for Art Deco furniture. The cushion are upholstered with a soft fabric with beautiful seems. The ottomans are made in Italy in 1930s. Great item to place around your seating area with other Art Deco chairs or sofa’s or at a coiffeuse or vanity table. We think it will also match a modern, midcentury interior with an Italian sideboard by Gio Ponti for example. The ottomans are in good condition. The wood has been re-lacquered by former owners. Fabric has traces of use, but in overall good condition for its age.
