Beautiful pair of table lights made of pink hand blown Murano glass with a brass shade holder on top These table or desk lamps are made by VeArt in the 1960’s. The beautiful hand blown, coloured glass shows how skilled the Italian Murano masters were for their time. The shape of the globe is flawless and the color of the glass feels smooth and natural. The lamps give a beautiful glow and are unique as a pair. The lamps are in good, working condition. The cord and switch were once replaced by modern examples. We think they will look beautifully on an Italian sideboard by Gio Ponti or Osvaldo Borsani. And because of the brass details, they will match the lamps by Gaetano Sciolari or Max Ingrand. Lamps are authentic and marked by maker. In 1965, Sergio Billiotti and Ludovico Diaz De Santillana started the company VeArt. Together with famous designers like Toni Zuccheri, Umberto Riva and Tobia Scarpa they were responsible for many beautiful Italian Murano glass design objects. The company was later acquired by lighting manufacturer Artemide.
